Passing thru Refugio? Don't stop!
There are no chicken enchiladas on the menu either. That is a special order.
Nothing fresh about any of their food.
This is absolutely, positively, the WORST Mexican food restaurant that I have ever had the misfortune to happen across, without a doubt....
We wanted an avocado appetizer, but there wasn't one listed on the menu. When we inquired about it, the young man assured us that it wasn't a problem....
Nothing fancy, just plain Good! Had the shrimp quesadilla. Delicious!
And the beef enchiladas did not have a good flavor. And they do NOT come with rice and beans.... WTH?
The staff was friendly and seemed attentive. And the restaurant seemed cleaned....
If anybody who is traveling and they happen to go through Refugio Texas stop at Henry's Mexican Restaurant! Get Henry's Special Combo, you will be disappointed with the meal or price! Great service clean establishment and awesome food!
When he brought it out to us, it was in a clear, little plastic container with a lid on it. Straight from the fridge!
Great food and really good service. Recommend the Mexican chicken fried steak
